John Dale was born in New Bern, NC in 1975. He got his first BMX bike - a red/white Moto One - in 1981. He's been riding bikes of one form or another ever since.
In Jr. High, John started riding BMX Flatland, street, and park (back then parks were canals) with his best friend Jim Burns.
In 1996 Jim Burns passed away tragically. Although he followed what was happening on big stages like The X-Games, John didn't ride BMX again until 2006. During that time John received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and his Master of Science in Management Information Systems from The University of Arizona in Tucson.
John attended the Nation's #1 entrepreneurship program at The University of Arizona's Eller College of Management. During his time in the program he founded RedEndo BMX with his own money, blood, sweat, and tears.
With the memory of his best friend, Jim Burns, as his primary motivator, John aims to position RedEndo BMX as the industry's premier online resource for all things related to BMX.
John is the RedEndo BMX editor as well as the primary contributor of content.
